Keeping the Valley Classy—Six intrepid Mat-Su Democrats spent a couple of hours picking up trash along Trunk Road on Saturday, May 10. Armed with heavy-duty bags and trash grippers, they "found" treasures like empty drink cans, car parts, and even some clothing. The Mat-Su Dems adopted a mile along Trunk from the Palmer Wasilla Highway to the College. We are glad to volunteer our time to make the Valley classy, not trashy!
