About Matt Schultz

Matt Schultz is running for Congress to lower cost for working families, protect access to healthcare across every region of the state, and deliver a future for the next generation of Alaskans.

Matt Schultz, pastor, community leader, has served Alaskan families for more than two decades, leading through service, organizing volunteers, partnering with local nonprofits, and building programs that meet Alaskans where they are. Successful initiatives include expanding safe, stable housing for Anchorage's homeless community, through undersued properties into long-term, dignified homes. He has counseled Alaskans through illness, addiction, and loss, and those experiences have shaped his conviction that policy should serve real people, not special interests.

Matt and his wife, Elizabeth, have made Alaska their home for decades. They've raised children, built deep ties in their community, and worked tirelessly to make life better for their neighbors. They have organized food drives, supported local nonprofits, and helped families make ends meet.

Matt brings the same roll-up-your-sleeves approach to every challenge: convene people, find common ground, and get results. "I'm running for Congress to help build a future where integrity guides our politics, compassion dirves our policies, and every Alaskan has a fair chance to thrive."

Matt Schultz is running for Us House of Represntative seat to serve all Alaskans.

Tom Begich - Governor https://www.tombegichforalaska.com
-
Longtime Alaskan and former legislator, Tom Begich, has filed to run for Governor in 2026. He had time to speak the Egan Dinner on Friday, August 22. As Joelle Hall explained in her introduction, Tom has a unique talent to bring people together with respectful persuasion. He is a listener and now intends to travel the state to hear the concerns of Alaskans. He will disagree honestly with facts and without rancor.
-
His record in the legislature speaks for itself. He was chair of the Senate minority for several years, gaining friends and influencing the actions of legislators in Juneau. He has the courage of his convictions and will work to set Alaska back on track after the Dunleavy decline. Please support Tom in every way you can. https://www.tombegichforalaska.com
