Our Mission
The Mat-Su Democrats are dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive Democratic community in the Matanuska-Susitna Regional Area. We are committed to building a strong, responsive, and collaborative political environment that reflects the diverse voices of our community.
Mat-Su Democrats’ mission is to:
Develop and execute initiatives that promote the values and interests of the Democratic Party
Engage and empower local citizens
Advocate for policies that benefit all residents of our region
To Achieve Our Mission Mat-Su Democrats will work to:
Elect Democrats and/or aligned undeclared or nonpartisan candidates at the local, state, and federal levels
Promote involvement in the political process
Promote voting registration and voting
Advance Democratic values
Advise Democratic Party leadership of our collective concerns and desires
Cultivate incoming District officers and work to consistently maintain and expand a knowledge base
